Have you ever thought either of these was selfish?
Self-care is one thing that we often don't take enough time for or possibly don't even believe in or feel we tell ourselves we don't have the time for. Yet, it can create time, and it's essential for our overall well-being.
Our well-being does improve, the feelings of being stuck or overwhelmed can be significantly reduced, the more you self-care giving back to yourself, your mind, body, health and mental well-being are so important not just to feel better but also your days will become more efficient, you can plan and maintain goals. Then you have more time and energy to share with others!
Doe's that change the thought of selfishness?
My thoughts are this is winning all around!
It’s not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself, and make your happiness a priority. It’s necessary. Mandy Hale
Self-love or Self-care comes in many forms and seen differently from one person to another.
It doesn't always need a lot of time or money.
Just a few little moments in your day.
It doesn't need to be a holiday or spa day.
Just a moment in the fresh air going for a walk or daydreaming, watching the water flow.
It could be the morning and night routines.
That keep your day running smoothly, allowing a calmness with keeping plans and goals on track.
It could be as simple as punching the punching bag or a breathing technique.
To release some tension before you say something you can't take back.
It could be savouring the amazing aroma of the rich coffee you're about to drink.
And enjoying every minute.
“You have been criticizing yourself for years, and it hasn't worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens.”Louise L. Hay
Have you ever thought that the best self-love self-care could be to treat yourself like you'd treat your best friend? What difference would that make?
So many levels of self-care self-love from the mind-body and soul. In our environment, we live and play in, our working professional life to our financial needs all forms of need and self-care, and self-love look after us—just a few things to consider to bring into your life.
For me, I need less clutter. I love routines. Being fresh and being creative fills my soul. I am learning to be more spontaneous and have more fun. I've rarely ever felt or been because I, too, thought it was selfish to allow myself the time.
To have zany fun by dancing and singing. Hang with people that you love, and you can have fun giving back to the world.
If you notice, you're talking more about the things you don't have in your life or how you want them. More than enjoying the beautiful moments or the moments you can create, start trying any of these things, planing for something, noticing a moment when you did something that should be acknowledged and see if your world changes. None of this is selfish. It's essential
